Got Fruit?

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. —Galatians 5:22-23

    hi everyone Suspect
    love this face too
i really hope im not the only whos posting today
    that would be so.... lonely
    haha
but anyways ill make todays short

so today i started colossians yay!
    with chapter one as expected
i read the whole thing.. but it was a little too much for my slow brain to handle
so i just pondered on the first part of the chapter

it talked about thanksgiving and prayer
it says that paul always prays and thanks God for the faith and love we have. and because this faith and love came from the hope we have through the gospel. and because this gospel is growing around the world.
the next prayer is something that really captivated me. it says

"for this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins."

i think this is a prayer that we should all be praying. i think ill do that starting today.
this should be our prayer for this missions and our lives.

    short right?
    anyways
    im excited for the retreat
to see all your lovely faces
see you tomorrowwwwww or i guess today haha

“The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? "I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve.”- Jeremiah 17:9-10

The heart is something that everyone possesses. All of us have unique looks, as well as unique hearts. The Bible infers the heart as the "mind" in most instances. It's something that we can all hide. I can hide my heart from you and you can hide yours from mine. But God is the one that can read all of Man's hearts and make the best choices for us. There are instances where we just don't feel that ANYONE understands us. No matter how we try to explain ourselves or no matter how other people love us and try to understand us, there are just certain things that people will never understand. I believe that sometimes God doesn't give man the capacity to understand other people's hearts. This is when we need to turn to Him for not just help, but simply UNDERSTANDING. Sometimes we don't even need help. Isn't it such a comfort to know that someone understands us?

God understands us and transcends all other understandings. After understanding comes trust. Are we brave enough to take our worries and concerns up to God who understands, then to ask him to take control of it all? Trust.

Excited for the retreat?! I hope most of you will show up!

    God Bless.

Sry for the late post, my apoligzzzzeee.....So today i read Ephesians 1.

"Grace and peace to you from God our father and the Lord Christ Jesus"

So in this verse, God has given us grace and peace in this world. How, by sending his son, Jesus christ down to earth to sacrifice himself on the cross for our sin. And when he did that, he brought grace and peace to you, and in this world. I like it how every sunday before Sam starts his sermon, he would say grace to you and peace. That Gods grace in are minds and the peace he has given us. Its a really good start to say thanks.

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blamless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will to praise of his glorious gracem which he has freely given us in the on he loves."

I kind of talked about this on yesturday devotions i think, so im just gano add a few stuff to it.
Every single one of us in this world is created for a reason. As Pastor Sam would always say, we are not here by mistake, God has call every single one of us to be here. As it says in this passage, that God has chosen us even before we were born, even before the world was created. He had it in his mind all along. And we will never forget it. If people say negative things to you, ignore it, God has created us for good things. We must always think positive and never the negative, why because God doesnt want to see you upset, he wants you to be happy, thats why the lord has created us. So be happy always, and God will be happy too.

    AMEN.............................

Have a good day and be happy....
